Beneath the glittering Eiffel Tower, daily existence is less than hopeful for the Senegalese migrants who have left their poverty-striken lives in Senegal to seek out a better future in Paris. Dafa Metti is a heart-wrenching portrayal of the hardships these brave men face as they are subjected to police brutality, ridicule and in some cases even deportation to countries which are not their own. And yet, despite the impossible challenges they endure, they still dream that their futures hold promise.
