In this entertaining and humorous film, Ifeoma Fafunwa, AKA Mrs. F, is a middle-class Nigerian woman who facilitates feminist workshops with women in a floating shanty town on the edge of Lagos, as they work towards a theatre production for the local community about the abuse of women. The film follows Mrs. F as she embarks on the production in the face of a traditional patriarchy that is still extremely dominant. While she connects with the women through her own personal struggles, it is more than a connection that is required if Ifeoma is to set in motion a transformation of cultural attitudes in Nigeria and break the culture of silence that pervades gender relations in the country.
